Version 1.3.0 (latest)

Created 16 September 2026.

* Fixed: system properties applied by `tasks.withType(Test).configureEach` (including the `rapidminer.home` default) no longer overwrite properties already explicitly set on the task. Previously `systemProperties = System.getProperties()` performed a full reset followed by unconditional overrides, which could clobber a consumer's own `test { systemProperty ... }` configuration depending on plugin-application ordering. All defaults (forwarded daemon system properties, `testProperties`, `java.awt.headless`, `rapidminer.home`) are now applied with `putIfAbsent` semantics, so explicit overrides always win. * Gradle 9.x compatibility: replaced deprecated `project.buildDir` with `layout.buildDirectory`; replaced eager task lookups with `tasks.named()`; moved JaCoCo wiring into a `plugins.withType(JacocoPlugin)` callback; JaCoCo coverage now collects all `*.exec` files under `build/jacoco/` so both `test` and `runProcessTests` contribute to the report * Fixed plugin activation guard: now uses `plugins.withType(RapidMinerExtensionPlugin)` callback so the correct activation order is enforced regardless of which plugin is applied first * Renamed `testExtensionWithJar` configuration to `testCompileExtension` to align with Studio's naming; `testImplementation` now extends `testCompileExtension` directly * Removed the internal `VersionNumber` helper - replaced by a minimal private `rmVersionAtLeast` utility; no longer part of the public API * Minor cleanups: removed redundant `dependsOn shadowJar` (implied by `from tasks.named('shadowJar')`), removed `project.configure(project)` wrapper, fixed `File#list()` null-check

Add this plugin to your build using the plugins DSL:

plugins {
  id("com.rapidminer.extension-testing") version "1.3.0"
}

  • Adding the plugin to build logic for usage in precompiled script plugins.

    See the relevant documentation for more information.

    Add this plugin as a dependency to <convention-plugins-build>/build.gradle(.kts):

    dependencies {
      implementation("com.rapidminer.extension-testing:com.rapidminer.extension-testing.gradle.plugin:1.3.0")
    }
    It can then be applied in the precompiled script plugin:
    plugins {
      id("com.rapidminer.extension-testing")
    }
  • The legacy method of plugin application. See the relevant documentation for more information.
    buildscript {
      repositories {
        gradlePluginPortal()
      }
      dependencies {
        classpath("com.rapidminer.extension-testing:com.rapidminer.extension-testing.gradle.plugin:1.3.0")
      }
    }

    apply(plugin = "com.rapidminer.extension-testing")
  • Applying plugins to all subprojects .
