Created 03 November 2022.

An opinionated approach to configure a gradle project automatically by convention. It supports to automatically configure various plugins to reduce boilerplate code in gradle projects.

Add this plugin to your build using the plugins DSL:

plugins {
  id("io.cloudflight.autoconfigure-gradle") version "0.8.3-rc.0.0+20221103T145630Z"
}

  • Adding the plugin to build logic for usage in precompiled script plugins.

    See the relevant documentation for more information.

    Add this plugin as a dependency to <convention-plugins-build>/build.gradle(.kts):

    dependencies {
      implementation("io.cloudflight.autoconfigure-gradle:io.cloudflight.autoconfigure-gradle.gradle.plugin:0.8.3-rc.0.0+20221103T145630Z")
    }
    It can then be applied in the precompiled script plugin:
    plugins {
      id("io.cloudflight.autoconfigure-gradle")
    }
  • The legacy method of plugin application. See the relevant documentation for more information.
    buildscript {
      repositories {
        gradlePluginPortal()
      }
      dependencies {
        classpath("io.cloudflight.autoconfigure-gradle:io.cloudflight.autoconfigure-gradle.gradle.plugin:0.8.3-rc.0.0+20221103T145630Z")
      }
    }

    apply(plugin = "io.cloudflight.autoconfigure-gradle")
  • Applying plugins to all subprojects .
